So what’s new.

I have had to bring it back on a budget and I will be keeping it basic. There is a lot of info and memories on here and I figured it should not be sat on my hard drive as a back-up collecting dust. It did shut down and the domain was lost due to it not being affordable any longer and things are not that much better now but I have sacrificed my Christmas beer to bring it back.

Its a little different to previous versions. The main menu is the obvious. I do think it is straight forward to navigate though. As always, I am open to suggestions in the “Website feed back suggestions” .

There was a lot of bounced e-mails when I sent out the “Forumite is back” e-mail yesterday so if anyone is able to pass on the news to the old crew, that would be good. Anyhow, I will  be tweaking it here and there as I go on and lets hope it lives on.

So what's new with me.

Not good news, but I have had to pawn most of my electrical’s to get through the past year or so. Phones, Tablets, TV’s, Computers and so on… My current phone is based on Android 5, my computer that I am using now is from 2010 and the monitor is an old Toshiba with a line running through it from the ice age. My house is technically challenged and grim at the moment. I do have a tablet on buy back in cash converters plus a generator also on buy back at the same place. Hopefully, I will get them back before the expiry period. And no, I am not running my house on a generator, the generator is intended for another “Huge project” I am working on, but more on that later.

Handy Man

I decided to offer my handy man services on Facebook which is slowly building up a following. I only do the little jobs that are a quick turnaround such as flat packs, minor joinery, curtain rails and minor fixes, shed assembly and gardening plus other odd bits.

I have to travel around on the bus with a bag of crap tools and I do buy the odd bit of cheap tools now and then but for now it’s make do and mend and build the collection up. I do spend most of my time in Whitby doing this so it’s not all bad.

The Devil! Goes by the name of Toby.

Yes, a new addition to the cat family. I came across him when I was doing a handy man job. The owner had got him for company as her husband had been taken into a care home. However she soon realised that she was allergic “Well that’s what she told me!” and was going to be sent to the RSPCA.

I fell for him as soon as I met him and decided he has to come home with me. I soon found out he is a Bar Steward. He is 9 month old, built like a shit brick house and is a psychopath. I still have my two girls though and there not impressed but put up with him. Its his forever home though and he loved very much despite being a nutter.

Round Up.

I have loads of little projects on at the minute such as converting an old crt tv, some new wood projects and so on… which I will be creating more blog posts about. The big project though can be found here Allotment part 1 breaking ground
