I want to share my experience.
Sometime ago on MM I had a thread about my Lenovo E50-00. On re-start it kept hanging on the splah screen – on startup it didn’t hang and went on as normal.
It went back to Lenovo and they fitted a new motherboard it was ok.
When in dire I had to sell it.
I now have my sisters Lenovo E50-00 it’s been happily chucking along.
However the problems happened on it and on re start it hangs
I realized it has only happened since I changed it to legacy boot, if I go back to Auto Boot it doesn’t hang.
So that’s got to be the reason my last E50-00 kept hanging and didn’t need a new motherboard.
If only I knew then what I know now, I don’t recall changing it to Legacy Boot, but I must have or was it a virus.
