I have been running Windows 11 (since it started) it is Activated. I decided to do a fresh install, downloaded Windows 11 installation from Microsoft. When on install it says my PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements and won’t continue.

How can this be, what can I do to continue with Windows 11.

      The download is dated 2023?

      Cheers
      John

It should have said what was the minimum requirement that was not met. You can do a Health Check if you do not remember. I believe that M$ have played around a bit with requirements and it maybe you have been caught by one of their CPU changes. Alternately you have made bios changes such as turning off secure boot.

Let us know what is flagged as a problem and we will try to help. TBH I’m not sure WHY you have done a fresh install, rather than letting Windows do its own repair install.

          Thanks Ed

I haven’t killed the old install and it works fine. I haven’t changed nothing in the bios.

There is no problems I feel Windows gets tired and I like to refresh from time to time. This is the first time it’s said it doesn’t meet system requirements.

Originally this PC was purchased with Windows 11 Pro installed and I have never had this. Upon checking on Windows 11 Specs and System Requirements | Microsoft it does meet all requirements and always has, if they caught out on CPU then surely it wouldn’t work as normal, it’s only a new install that doesn’t work.

          Cheers

Come to think, it did a Windows update last week.
