Over recent years, I have asked many questions, mostly linux related. Sometimes I forget the answer, but if I started the topic, I quickly find it and read it all again. Generally I copy the significant stuff to a file on this machine, but not always.
Right now, I want to recall how to make Epub files immediately readable on my Kob0 Touch. I can’t find a copy of info here, and no access to MM stuff.
Of course, without all the hardcore contributors finding us and moving here, quick useful answers may become difficult or impossible.
Just remembered it was “Calibre”, so maybe a google search will help, once I confirm it is present in Mint 17, or download and install it.

August 8, 2014 at 6:15 pm #425mm is still where its always been. just dont use your old bookmarks as they wont work no more 🙂 o and clean your cache if issues persist!
August 9, 2014 at 7:38 am #427Firstly, having remembered it was Calibre, it is now installed and AOK.
Secondly, I was unaware that MM was accessible. I had seen odd comments here suggesting some access, but never got beyond the rotating “whirlwind”. It is all down to old links? I will try again now. Les.
August 9, 2014 at 8:09 am #428No luck, can somebody give me a link that gets access? I googled for MM, and tried their link to forum, but any attempt to access any sub forum brings the slow whirlwind back.

August 9, 2014 at 9:20 am #429Les – do you have MM bookmarked still and have you tried clearing out any cookies/cache using something like ccleaner. A few people have had to clear out all trace of previous access to the site and start afresh. You might also need to “re-register” your password, this is simple though – they email you a link and then just use the same PW as before.
If the Missus’ PC hasn’t been used to access MM before you might give that route a try, just for elimination purposes.:)
August 9, 2014 at 9:33 am #430If your on mint you may need to give bleachbit a try to clear your cach, works a little like ccleaner on windows.

August 9, 2014 at 1:48 pm #431Right, thanks for that both of you.
I tried Tamara’s laptop, no problem.
I cleared all history on mine, put the address in, and Voila, everything OK.
Busy now, will catch up later and see if I have missed anything, and try to log in then as well.
Cheers, Les.

September 14, 2014 at 9:38 am #540Has MM forum gone t-u again, or is it just update time.
I just get the spinning circles right now.
Les
(and apologies for coming here to ask question, when I suppose we should be here all the time).
September 14, 2014 at 1:53 pm #541It’s a case of clear your cach again 🙂
