I’ve had an iPad for about 2 years, bought second hand off eBay . It has a sim tray, which has been empty for many years. Annoyingly, the iPad reminds me there is no Sim card repeatedly. I realise this and don’t need it to have data but it keeps telling me. It seems to recently have got worse, so i decided to get a sim card and stick it in. I’m with 3 and got a data sim off them. But my iPad seems to be locked.
So i went to Vodafone and was told the only way to get it unlocked is to get a Vodafone sim card and use it for 3 months. I don’t want a data sim, i don’t want to pay for it, i just want the notification to stop.
Does anyone know how i could get this unlocked?
