Go through your drivers and look for yellow flags.
September 23, 2019 at 10:30 am #36896There are no yellow flags.
Now there seems to be some toataly missing ie it did have a touchscreen with no conflicts.

Cheers
JohnSeptember 23, 2019 at 12:18 pm #36903You may need to expand the headings to get a full result, and unfortunately some categories do not tell the whole truth especially mobo and Intel drivers. Touch screen may be at the gpu or mobo level.
A pita but if it were my piece of kit I’d expand and search online for updates on every item.
September 23, 2019 at 12:22 pm #36906I had it off ebay as a non booter (spares/repair).
I repaired it (now boots) I just can’t get the the screen to react to touch.
It would seem there were multiple faults on it when the last guy got rid of it. Some you’ve been able to clear, but others just seem to keep coming back, along with fresh ones.
Sell it on again, as spares/repair and go for a different one. You might have better luck with that. It’s a lottery really.
There are times when it’s best to cut and run!!😀
September 23, 2019 at 7:36 pm #36922Thanks #ed #i have had them all expanded and searched a driver, they all say I have the best driver. I couldn’t open them for the pic as it would go down too far/small.
JayCeee I did think of re selling on ebay, but I might just run.
Cheers
JohnSeptember 23, 2019 at 11:02 pm #36926I was scrolling through Gumtree when I saw this John, £30 and looks ideal for you. See if she will post if you want it.
These are factory specs, it has an 8″ screen, 1280 x 800 resolution, 2GB RAM, Android 7.0.
The only drawback I see is that it has 16GB onboard, but not expandable.

JohnSeptember 24, 2019 at 10:11 am #36935I was fiddling in the settings and I had a message something in the terms of install battery. That to me means the battery has died.
I have never had the back off a tablet so don’t know what I am looking at in the pic below is the big silver thing the battery.

Cheers
JohnSeptember 24, 2019 at 11:05 am #36936Yes but you may want to check out a generic how-to before you start fiddling and waste £20.
September 24, 2019 at 11:35 am #36938Thanks Ed
I watched the video, The battery in mine doesn’t look as easy to remove.
I am no good at soldering I may just cut the wire & join the new.
If I can get one, searching #fusion5 Tablet never seems to come up with 7″ only 10″
Edit:
It’s had it the battery (if it is) didn’t want to come up, it started smoking, so I left it incase it blew up.
Cheers
JohnSeptember 24, 2019 at 2:24 pm #36945Very wise – I hope you have completely unplugged it!🚒🚒

It was unplugged? when it smoked and smelt. Just incase it blew up, I took it to the tip. Now in a skip safest place for it.
Cheers
