Acer RL85, i3 was my third miniature desktop pc to bite the dust. I suspect they either can’t handle the heat or being switched on for 16+ hours a day.
This one had been giving me the odd warning when the screen would go black for a second but it finally gave up the ghost after giving a lot of distortion.
Back to using the rebuilt Zalman Media system that cause me a lot of grief & expense trying to diagnose its start & shutdown problems. New (used) CPU & PSU seemed to have cured it but the spare GA-H55M motherboard which I bought as a replacement (& yet another i3-540 CPU @ £8) still fails to turn off until the power button is held in for 4 seconds.
