Microsoft exec’s were quoted at the time of release as saying that they wanted to make sure that the next release of Windows that they were working on was not mistaken for a rehash of W8 so they were going to call it W10. As far as I know that is exactly what happened so W10 is W9, just called W10 😁

I have not used windows 10 this year. Can some peep’s do me a favour and post some screen shot’s of various parts for comparision.

Sorry no can do as I use Start10+Fences+Stardock’s Windows Blinds+Deskscapes 10! I’m afraid I have thought that unmodified Windows 8 and above are rubbish from a usability/productivity/appearance standpoint.

Sorry, it’s been a crappy few days and just could not be arsed with this. Was kinda pulling your leg a bit. But from what I have read Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro Evaluation

Was going to be 9. What ever it is it goes like the clapper and boots in seconds. There are not much changes from 8 though appart from a few bit’s and bobs here and there. There other windows knocking about aswell but I’ll look for them at a later date. By the way, the above fully updates. Where one would get a key for I have no idea. First time I have used windows this year and I am now off back to more than likely ubuntu.
