Just watched number 4 (can’t sleep) and I have to say they are knocking out the park. Much much better than Grand Tour, and probably the last 4 years of the traditional TopGear, was going to call it old TG, but the traditional one (Clarkson, Hamond and May) was probably the 3rd reboot.
I like watching old TopGear episodes on YouTube, when JC was new, I really liked that era too. There is some of the original format on YT too, including the first ep, they are great, more watchdog that TG though.
Anyhow I think now they are back to being really good again after about a 4 year low.
Grand Tour got better as it went on, but I just think them 3 are well past their peak I’m that format. Not past their earning peak, but their show I just don’t think has its ‘x-factor’ of the late ‘naughties’ it had. Before they figured out that made them good, and began to force it.
The new anchor of the Extra Gear show, needs to go. Did he win a competition to host that? Not watched the latest ep, will do tomorrow night. The format is good, the host not so.

Loved last weeks trip round the Nürburgring!

March 28, 2017 at 7:59 pm #5635I do like the look of the smart speaker. One in my kitchen would be perfect for music and note taking and reference. Sure a phone can do the same thing and Amazon Echo claims to also do it but I prefer Google to Amazon. Just saying OK Google before a request or question whilst stood in the kitchen would be very handy if it worked almost 100%

March 29, 2017 at 2:19 pm #5643It’s probably because I was tired so concentrating really hard, or cos it was the middle of the night and the only thing I was concentrating on was the post.

Yes, sorry it was but then the forum stopped responding and I couldn’t delete it or make the proper post. Then I forgot until now.

March 29, 2017 at 10:46 pm #5658This is strange as my post in the Google home forum when posted ended up here too. I noticed right away and copied it over and deleted this entry. Must of been a bug at the time rather than hand user error. Which is what I put it down to at the time.
