I found this clip by Boston Dynamics both impressive and scary.

It seems the world is heading rapidly towards highly impersonal wars (at least for the US, China and Russia). The obvious problem being that impersonal killing is dispassionate and  much easier than the face to face stuff. Humanity and empathy fly out of the window.

I think I would be more inclined to worry about China’s agenda.

like: Reverse engineering, brain draining, lobbying, sponsoring and so on.

I see automated recruitment software is making a worker skill shortage.

But.

I remember one time going for a job interview on Walkers crisps and the personnel women was looking for rocket scientists to drive hgv’s. Some of the lads got up and on walking out told her what to do.
