I sounds  bit like the ‘believable work ‘of RT crew who recently trawled the public areas of Southampton Hospital Maternity unit at night and miss translated the cleaners wet floor sign until they were kicked out.

On the same theme of hospitals, of which I have seen and experienced too many in the past few days my wife has already had all of her scans and the final analysis is awaited, the comments from today’s operative was ‘that’s not good news‘ – though it was not in relation to the scan that was done. My blood pressure tablets have been doubled and the plastic surgeon has been booked for mid May to remove the lesion; that should be a busy day with me half way across the county in the morning and my wife in the opposite direction in the afternoon. As the currently sole driver I am a busy person these days.

A specialist key cutter came this afternoon and cut the keys we needed. Then I found the previously failing key worked fine once more, another revenge of mechanical devices perhaps? Or perhaps it was a typical day for us.

The irony is, the Russian video is a debunking of the ‘official EU US video. Next well see a Debunking of the Russian Debunking video.

I’ll have to see if I can dig up a staged video that was made of a sniper (I think syrian) shooting a kid in open ground. The people behind it was attempting to prove that these are easily faked, and msm will pick them up and run with them with out deconstructing the footage first.

It worked too. I’m just not sure how I’d find it again.

          Found it.

It’s not quite what I remembered, if anything it’s even more bizarre the reason given for making such  a video.

There is a podcast that deconstructs these type of videos, ‘no agenda’, on the face of it, you’d think the pair was potty, but time always seems to prove them more right than wrong.

They have said since day one, the isis beheadings was faked. And I don’t know either way, (obviously), but I’d lean towards fake just on their (no agendas) hit rate.

“However Russias main purpose in Syria isn’t the bases.”

Sorry to pick up on an old point. While maybe their Mediterranean naval base is not the main reason for their support, it is still a major reason for them wanting to stay. Russia’s navy is blocked in by the easily controlled Dardanelles and they have  similar choke points in getting out of their northern bases. Vladivostok has winter ice problems which really only leaves the Med as an all-seasons open access Blue Water port. Even the Chinese have better Blue Water facilities.

Vanessa Beeley, Sarah Abdallah* and the other extreme right wingers and anti west interests are really having a field day with their Syria fantasies and alternative stories and altered reality. Their aims being to sow doubt and discredit previously trusted news agencies so the void could be filled by their make believe alternatives, e.g. RT.

I wonder what they had to say about the journalist who reported on a spate of recent deaths among Russian irregulars in Syria and whose death was dismissed as suicide and others consider very suspect.

*Sarah Abdallah claims to be in the Middle East while using images of a more North American flavour.

Unfortunately the world is awash with disinformation from both Russia and the West. With modern methods for image manipulation none or all of what we see may be real. Imo the best test is “Does it consistently hang together without raising other questions; and if so, who stands to benefit”?

Always the stating point should be who will benefit. Usually it’s money, power, and energy, not in any any particular order. And of course as you said, does the narrative the media are trying to spin hold.

The issue is they rarely do. I don’t really trust any gov, but in blinked but nationalism. I think we are just as bad at the rest.

Funny enough I’m reading a great book about the History of the Royal Navy, going day to before day one, the growth of the sea, pirates, the RN and on to empire building. It’s no wonder the world still doesn’t like us, we have been Shits from day one. We took over from the Spanish and The US took the mantle from us.

It’s also nice to see all the characters from treasure island are taken from actual real sailors of old.

The book is ‘to rule the waves’ by Arthur Herman. Very good indeed. It really pics some great moments, keeping it Interesting without getting bogged down in tedium.

Putin announced that Russian nationals living outside of Russia with whom he had disagreements should be liquidated, so when they start turning up dead in this country some people start to join up the dots, oh how unpleasant to think that the nice cuddly Tzar might be making good on his threat. Now who had something to gain, OK a few might want to blacken his name, though to me it is already the same as jet. Then on the other hand a few dissidents might quake a little more in their boots and a few more might decide that speaking out about the thug is not a good idea. So is it so hard to work out who wins in that scenario?

As for Putin’s poodle in Syria, so he bites a metaphorical postman for fun because he is like that and sitting in the safety of his Russian kennel he does not believe anything much will happen to him anyway. At best all that happened is that some of the barrel bombs were knocked over and once more Putin has his image polished because that was all the outside world could do. After all the fifth column lead by the likes of Vanessa Beeley, Sarah Abdallah will soon be ranting about how nasty the west is anyway to smoke screen all from view. So from Putin and the poodle’s point of view that is how the whole thing is being played out. Along with popular cheap shots about the ‘white hats’  playing to anti imperial sentiment, while welcoming a different imperialist Tzar into their midst. But everyone will still accept their own narrative no matter what.

As you say, Richard, believe what fits your conceptions or preconceptions. All I know is that lawyers are trained to lie on behalf of their clients, so anyone who is taken in by a legally trained politician (119 of our 650 MPs) deserves all that they get!

Turns out there was Zero gas attracts in Sryia. The footage was of people covered in dust.

I’ll liek a video, but that has the links to the Independant and other sources to back this up.

I said the day I seen that video no  CS, sarin gas was used that day, as many first responders had not protection on what so ever and was working away fine. I was correct.

Don’t believe anything the BBC tells you. Just like in Venezuela, last week the BBC (and us outlets) all shown a anti Mudro rally, made it look like 1000 of Venezuelans turned out in support. It was was doubt full given it was in agentena in the  university of buenos Aires (look at the huge chrome flower monument. Bit of a give away). But all networks failed to show the 10s of thousands of pro mudro demonstrators in Venezuela. This will be the next Sryia. Iran may be squeezed in somewhere too.

If and I hope it will not happen, the child is allowed into the UK it should be served with an instant child protection order and removed from the family, for ever. (I leave the issue of which family for others to row over.)

As far as the stupid woman is concerned her own foul mouth is enough to convict her and that terrorist protector ‘lawyer’ needs ‘re-education’.

As an interesting aside, recent research suggested that the males were usually indoctrinated by others, while the stupid girls did it all themselves including their travel to Syria in part so that they could escape their families and chose their partner(s).

If Begum had offered to implicate all those who convinced a young 15 year-old to betray her country, and if she had shown some contrition it is probable her reception would have been very different.

I think Sajid Javid now deserves some praise for his courage. As an affirmed apostate he already has already committed an unforgivable sin in some eyes, and to compound it with his recent actions is not the sort of gutless reaction that we would have seen from ‘submarine’ May.

Given she is British born, she should be allowed in. Also she may turn out as decent bait for mi5/6, you never know who or what watching her could lead to.

But as she is a citizen  of thd UK, and as far as I know, she never filled out the paperwork to give her citizenship up, so she should be afforded all the protections that gives anyone abroad. If she had given it up officially, then she is on her own.

I don’t like her decisions, but my opinions on that’s isn’t relevant. Just the law. I don’t see why this is even an issue. And as I said above, she could end up being a good source  to monitor closely.

A brit is a brit, no matter what stupid choices she made. Especially given she was a minor when she made her choices.

Everyone need to take their feelings and opinions out of the equation. Nobodys are relevent not even the home secs, they should follow the rules not their personal feelings.

Now if she has give up her passport (officially) then opinions of the home sec are relevent. If not, they are not.

There is alot of crap laws we all have opinions on, it doesn’t make them any less of a law.

Let her back, and monitor her.

Regarding her child, in fuzzy on the laws of giving birth abroad. Isn’t it if your a brit, your child is entitled to citizenship. I know other countries have different laws. Iirc an American born abroad isn’t guaranteed an American citizenship (unless born on a US base or embassy), and if a foreigner gives birth in the US the US can claim the child if they wish. So a brit giving birth in the US could cause issues. Especially as an American can’t hold dual citizenship.

However back to the case in hand, is the kid classed as a brit? In foggy on that. And don’t wish to read through the matter, as it bores me.

Having been through the process twice, once in the late 1980s and once in the early 1990s I can tell you that it is not automatic. Gaining a passport for subsequent children in the 2000s and onwards is also not an automatic process and both of our children had fully UK born families and previous UK born generations, part of the written law.

It is a complex subject and sadly copious reading is required along with challenging and time consuming chats at the UK overseas embassy, of not always of your choice and usually in the country of residence and/or the child’s birth. For example, is the outcome of the pregnancy now to be regarded as Syrian? Unless nationality has been simplified in recent years and I doubt that is the case, great care needs to be taken. The female in question has spared no effort to discredit herself and her espoused cause, such as putting heads as many as possible in dustbins and enjoying the sight, but no doubt it will once more be one set of treatments for those innocent and those guilty.

As a matter of fact, the law was changed in 1981 to allow the stripping of British citizenship from dual/multi nationals. Whether or not she has Bangladeshi citizenship and/or Dutch (through her marriage) I do not know but that is a matter for the Courts.

Richard the ‘legality’ of her marriage is presently moot, but I believe that the Dutch gave full common law rights to partners while our Bishops were still arguing the toss. As I understand it her Dutch husband just needs to affirm the situation through a written declaration both for Begum and his child. However, none of this can be applied before he gets back to Holland, and I guess out of jail. All of which could take many years.

Just heard on the news that she is so full of her own self-importance that she thought SJ should contact her personally about his decision.  What planet is she on ?

She has spent some years passively supporting one of the most brutal and genocidal regimes in recent history, and appears quite unrepentant.
Morally speaking, she has lost any claim she had to call Britain her home, now only wanting to return after the caliphate’s demise.

One other possible scorpion in the heap is that some countries used to try to hijack babies born on their soil so that a ‘fun’ letter could turn up many years later giving details of a reporting point to use for their armed forces. I doubt that this birth will be recorded in any Syrian lists so that is one doubtful risk that may well lie down and go. It all serves to show how the laws of unintended consequences can haunt things and how simple items can get very complicated when the law and its profit minded practitioners collides with reality of life.
