      I am using a 240GB SSD in a HP Elite 8300 SSF computer.

      I have bee longing for a larger SSD, I got a 500GB SSD.

      However I decided (as the compaq has 4 Sata sockets and a spare power plug) I will use them both. I plugged the 500GB in put the rig back together and fitted it in it’s place.

      I came to setup the 500GB but can’t find it in disk management.?

      AmI missing something, I will get round to trying the other sata sockets or the 500GB on it’s own (if needs B), at the moment it’s the hasttle

        Check if it’s seen in the BIOS. If it isn’t suspect a cable problem.

          I swapped the cable and all is fine now, I grabbed the first cable I came too.
