Cheers
JohnMarch 9, 2018 at 10:06 am #17407As far as I know it is the same guy
March 9, 2018 at 6:32 pm #17412I noticed Simon in computer active as well.
I think I saw Mark Pickervance writing for some online tech sure. Tech report maybe.
March 9, 2018 at 6:50 pm #17415At first I thought Mark was a bit swollen headed but after a while I realised he really did know what he was talking about and became my firm favourite. If you can remember where you saw him I would be eternally grateful.
March 9, 2018 at 11:45 pm #17428A quick Google shows tech advisor so it was probably that I saw.

He also has his own site with some micro mart stuff.
Mark was one of my favourites and at one point I remember he seemed to write nearly the whole mag for what seemed like a year when Simon was still the editor.
Anyone know what Jason is up to now I haven’t seen his name for quite a while?
March 10, 2018 at 1:03 am #17429Probably because Computer Active is a Dennis publication as was Micromart.
Simon is listed as one of six contributors.

Contact info for Jason HERE.
March 10, 2018 at 12:18 pm #17437I miss that very different Pickavance humour, and his ability to start something debatable that sometimes turned into a flame war. Provocation should have been his middle name! I still check out DofG occasionally, Mr Brew remains the Geek of All Geeks.
Thanks Kumagoro and JayCeeDee for the links.
