I cut salt from my food about 6 weeks ago.

As in do not apply other than whats in it.

Hey. I smell things better and things taste better.

Salt is much maligned, and small amounts are essential to the processes of cooking. As someone who has always had a below average blood sodium level I need some salt in my foods!

I do accept that the majority of people veer towards too high a salt level in their diet, but please do not force it on everyone otherwise all foods will taste as b-awful as low salt Heinz Baked Beans. Ugh!🤒

I don’t add much salt to stuff but I do like Marmite. They now have a reduced salt version, blue lid and label edge, and I can’t taste the difference. Some people need more salt than others, like Ed said.

A few years ago I helped this bloke get from the edge of Cardiff to the edge of Barry, I would have taken him much further but I had family commitments. He needs to consume 4 times as much salt as a ‘normal’person as that’ what his sweat contains. Almost literally salt with everything.

I feel that disgust Ed! I have taken to adding a little Clover spread and a small dollop of Heinz Ketchup to the beans when heating them. Seems to bring back the original taste, and I am a Beanzaholic!
