PS Portal

I thought I’d start a topic on the PS Portal. I bought one about 4 weeks ago.
It’s took a fair bit of tinkering, way more than should be necessary, to get the best set up but I’m loving it.

I sit with it about 1m from the PS5 but it means my wife can still use the TV while I’m playing Elden Ring.

Up until this week i haven’t had any freezes or anything but something may have changed and I’ve had a few over the last few days but only maybe 1-2 per session.

Today I’ve taken out an older Asus router i had, connected as an AP and connected only the PS5 to the ethernet and only the PS Portal to the 5ghz, even turning off the 2.4ghz. Made both use a static IP.

Well it froze once but that’s before i replaced the two ethernets with two new cat 8 cables. Now hopefully it’s as solid as it can get.
