I’m thinking about getting a tandem bicycle. I had a go on one when I was a kid and found that 4 legs on 2 wheels was faster and easier work.

Is a tandem safer or not compared to a solo?

Other consideration: occasional off road. favorable condition only DRY!

I had a go one one in Romford  skatepark many years ago with a trusted mate.

No matter who was up front we nearly died many times. It was great fun for everyone watching though.

If your worried about fitness levels look at an ebike, maybe a gravel one that would have some off road ability.

Yep, definitely a bad idea getting  a tandem. I will look at normal bikes. 🙂

I have no idea where you are but I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I have to get shot of my single speed bike. Realistically I’m never going to be able to use it again.

If you are ever Cardiff way, give me a nudge and it’s yours for a small charity donation.

Sad news that you feel you cannot use the bike effectively. Thanks for the offer. One of my old skool friends keeps his on the wall in his living room. Dont think I will be over Cardiff anytime soon. Need a Tardis for that. 🙂
