If any of you lot (or your family or mates) are big Gavin and Stacey fans then there’s a chocolate bar available now. Not official Gavin and Stacey but it’s a genuine Cadbury bar and only available in one shop in Barry.

Not cheap, really not cheap, £6 each or 2 for £10.

Not been to Barry Island since I was a kid, and that was to look at the scrapped steam locos. Must find an excuse to go back sometime, it’s easy enough by train from here.

Dave, the station where the scrapped locos were is technically still there, not been used for many a decade though. It wasn’t on the Island, close though.

If you get down there try and go on a Wednesday, this place is worth a bit of time, the actual museum is tiny but the volunteers are really knowledgeable and love what they do. There is a lot of information in the tiny space.
