So you won’t be voting then Ed 😂
October 30, 2019 at 7:49 pm #37881Two of them are relatively honest (for politicians), and I have not yet caught Corbyn in a lie. If anything he is too damned honest to be a political leader.
October 31, 2019 at 4:24 pm #37889Honest maybe Ed. Competent, no. I could never vote for the kind of committed idiot who wants to do enough ‘good works’ to bankrupt the nation. Sorry, further bankrupt the nation. His brand of Socialism is as close to Communism as makes no difference. My great concern is how many new voters he impresses with his fairy tales.

I'm out.October 31, 2019 at 6:06 pm #37892+1 Bob. Thats twice we agree in one week !
October 31, 2019 at 7:20 pm #37894Can we even still see brexit ever happening? I got close to changing my mind, but I’m firmly back in the camp that we was never going to leave.
October 31, 2019 at 7:22 pm #37895I give up with friends like this who needs enemies?
Loud-mouth Trump has just interfered in Britain’s election process. I hesitate to say who will get the most mileage from his interference as although his condemnation of Corbyn was obvious, he also said that it was possible that the terms of “Duplicitous Johnson’s” Brexit deal could make any future trade deal with the US impossible! Caution unreliable content – Daily Express Link 😋
I’ll give Trump his due he was at least even-handed in giving ammunition to both main parties.
October 31, 2019 at 7:34 pm #37896Does he explain how it blocks a trade deal? I can’t see that anywhere.
If it’s going to be impossible with the USA because of “something” then surely it’ll be the same with other nations?
Why do we want a trade deal with the USA over the EU anyway? I just don’t get it, it makes no sense. It’s like me saying I’m turning my back on all my Bristol customers and concentrating on Glasgow.
October 31, 2019 at 8:35 pm #37899Loud-mouth Trump has just interfered in Britain’s election process.
You’d think after his condemnation ( vilification ) of Russia getting involved in his own troubled election, he’d keep his stupid mouth shut!!! If that is at all possible though…………..
October 31, 2019 at 10:19 pm #37904I’m sure it’s been proven in the USA theT trump had zero to do with Russia. Is only the dumb leftist news still trying to peddle that shite.
October 31, 2019 at 10:38 pm #37905Mueller; the investigation “does not conclude that the President committed a crime”; however, “it also does not exonerate him”. The investigation intentionally took an approach that could not result in a judgment that Trump committed a crime feeling that it would be unfair to accuse Trump of a crime without charges or a trial. But Mueller found Trumps team did have links with Russia, Russia did interfere and Trumps campaign benefited.
They’ve found better stuff to impeach him on. He’s not up for withholding funds from Ukraine so that they do what America wants, everyone does that, but what he personally wants i.e. he’s abusing his position for personal gain. Well they all do that too but not so openly! He just can’t keep his mouth shut.
November 1, 2019 at 7:29 am #37908I’d like to see an investigation of US interference in the UK’s Election and Brexit processes!
November 1, 2019 at 9:38 am #37911No 10 are denying there are issues with doing trade deals as that will seriously damage their campaign. The whole point being we can do wonderful trade deals around the world with the USA as poster boy. Wait for a Trump administration back pedal like they did with the NHS being on the table.
Corbyn sees Trumps comments as a badge of honour. I doubt it’s done any damage, indeed probably given them more ammunition. Either Boris or Trump is playing games with the truth and they are linked together.
Farage seems to be the only one who gains as Trump is backing Farage’s view. But I’m starting to think the Brexit Party is bust apart from doing some damage in Labour leave seats north of the Watford Gap.
But who knows? We can have fun speculating.

November 1, 2019 at 11:24 am #37918It’s hard to dispute any of that article. This has been one Tory mess from start to finish and all they do is blame someone else.
Edit. Looks like a split leave vote then unless farage gives up.

I'm out.November 1, 2019 at 8:23 pm #37933I quite liked that artical.
November 9, 2019 at 3:17 pm #38141The recently announced Lib Dem/Green pact will influence election results as will tactical voting aimed at getting rid of Johnson. You can see the potential impact of this in your own constituency using the data on the bestforbritain.org site. It turned my deep blue constituency into marginal territory using the site’s assumptions. Mid Somerset could however see a complete turn-over.
My guess is that Conservative fears of the impact of this sort of voting resulted in Jo Swinson not being allowed to take party in the debate between party leaders.
Incidentally the linked tactical voting site must be in the running for the ‘most ugly site’ award.
November 10, 2019 at 1:57 pm #38154I put in a number of postcodes across the northwest and Wales, all recommended I vote Labour. I’m thinking this is just a Labour ploy 🤔
November 10, 2019 at 3:19 pm #38155It depends how popular the Lib Dems / Plaid Cymru are in the area. If they’re well third then there’s probably no credible opposition to beat the Tories apart from Labour. Quite often the case with the first past the post.
I suspect it’s probably in the West and London where the Lib Dems stand a chance.
