I’m having issues with the internet at home. I do not expect to be back up and running untill the 2nd of Feb. I have had to buy one of those BT fon day passes today but @ £6.98 or there abouts a day I wont be buying one each day. So if there are issues or problems please be patient. The forum is running well apart from the index page and i’ll see what i can get done today incuding the mod rules.

Trying to get hold of my bros BT wifi details if I can ever get intouch with him or his misses, its like pulling teeth try to get intouch with any one in my family.

Thought I would pop in and say hello. Going to get me a months worth of bt fon tommorow to keep me going untill my landline is switched over. I am watching all the chat via email though through my phone.

Well I have been using bt-wifi since yesterday at a cost of £40 per month and god will I be glad when my line is back on. So sloooow :negative: Ive piped it round the house using connectify so I can atleast use the diffrent PC,s. I did the same at my parents new house 6 months ago when they moved and was waiting for sky and I got there nowtv boxes to connect up fine but my luck being as it is it’s not working for me. When try to connect a nowtv box once I have entered my wireless password it connects but then says no internet :unsure: Any way Ill wory about that another day.

Well my Internet is back on. I thought now-a-days that it all would be managed by computers, switches and relays. Any how, being me and my love for old things I purchased an old rotary phone with the bells. Every time there was a change made you could here the bells inside ever so slightly moving. So I picked it up and had a listen. I could here them on the other end connecting things up and dialing a BT test line, and a little heavy breathing! None the less fascinating and comforting knowing that there is still people out there plugging in wires in some local exchange probably in Yorkshire with a Yorkshire cup of tea.
