I cannot help but think that Nicola Sturgeon is a nut bar.
I guess the question is what can be done about her.
May 11, 2021 at 4:43 pm #68211Her mouth and what she says, are the biggest enemy of Scottish Independence. Those words are spoken by my Scots relatives. But I still believe that the Scottish people should decide their own future.

I'm out.May 12, 2021 at 7:04 am #68214Yes Bob, her mouth is quite something. I would not mind so much if she could talk about other things like planting trees to ward of global warming. Or where she gets her shopping from.
May 12, 2021 at 9:14 am #68215The sad and dangerous thing is she is selling a fantasy. Have a look at this:

Where is an independent Scotland going to find the money to make up the short fall ?
The SNP keeps saying that Scotland would rejoin the EU but the EU keeps saying its not interested in an independent Scotland and all the border problems that would involve.
The EU is also not interested in replacing Scotlands UK grant with an EU one.
I haven’t even mentioned all the institutions Scotland would have to build and finance along with the matter of WHAT money because it won’t be the pound.
I would not presume to tell the scots what they can’t do but if they follow Sturgeon it will be straight off a cliff.
May 12, 2021 at 9:51 am #68216I think we should encourage them, we would be financially better off without them! It would also rid us of the hyper-expensive Trident dooms-day machines, which are of zero use in any small conflicts. All in all a win-win for the non-united kingdom.
May 12, 2021 at 10:20 am #68218Well the rest of the UK would be hugely better off financially, the only real cost would be the rebuilding of Hadrian’s wall 😁
May 12, 2021 at 10:24 am #68219Remember, we ARE in fanticy land here 😂
May 12, 2021 at 11:26 am #68220I think it would be entertaining if it was made known that a Post-Scoxit Houses of Parliament would only admit English/Welsh or Northern Ireland citizens as MP’s – any Scottish citizens would have to make do with Holyrood.
It would make a pleasant change as we’ve had to put up with Scottish accented ire/pontification/condescension ( and occasional ineptitude ) for decades!!
May 12, 2021 at 12:29 pm #68221That’s exactly the way it would be, independent is independent, you don’t get a say in another country’s government.
May 12, 2021 at 12:34 pm #68222Anyway, home rule for Pimlico 😁
