my router has gone funny

Im not one to over react to security concerns, However I’ve just logged into my router to help a fellow formite and my router is no longer English . someome please help/shed insight … Or translate ….

An easy fix, but given im the only one with access, its a bit freaky. Also someones unplugged my USB drive from it, or its on the fritz. Cba going down to see if it is plugged in.

It’s probably set to automatically update, and has picked up the wrong language file. That’s probably reset your router to default, undoing any settings you changed to be able to access the drive.

Maybe so. I had a quick look around the settings, my proxie/faux static ip is still set up, however I noticed the WPS (the easy connect thing) was set to on, and I always have that disabled.

So maybe although it doesn’t auto update, I have I manually hit go. I do get a notification when an update is live.

Strange pixies have been at work.
