I must confess that I found this web page – Ishkurs Guide to Electronic Music a fascinating place to dip into. Not only does it give the time-line and relationships of various genre, it also embeds musical clips ‘ illustrating ‘ examples of each.

If you like music take a dip, but if you hate electronica avoid it like the plague!
