Speaking of which, I got the first Back to the future car model mag the other week. Thought I would get the first issue for a couple of quid and see how much they go upto. £8.98 per week x 130 issues. It had better time travel for that price.

That’s such a con.

You could buy a half decent real car for the total of that if your not to fussy.

I just fancied doing somthing like that to get me away from the computer and tech. I’m going to start looking around some scale model sites and see what is out there. I dont want something I can build in an hour. I have in the past looked at mini steam engines “Not trains” which I feel is up my street. May look into that again.

I understand completely.

It’s good to have other interests. If I’m not nerding out with computers or phones I’m on my bike/s or tinkering with them.

My gasser Mini R/C car hasn’t moved in months due to my pain while walking.

In my attic I have a basic steam engine that my grandfather had as a youngster.

He had a burn mark on his arm until the day he died. He was given it when he was about 6. :scratch:

Got my last fix this morning before I went to work. Cried a little bit tonight 🙁

Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. Nice CoolerMaster case, 2 x NV GTX 1070 8GB, and a whopping 32" AOC 1440P monitor.

The re-direction worked for me the first time, second look just to make sure and it came up with 404, so I guess it’s a one shot wonder.

Hopefully anyone who has been following this on the old MM forum will find their way here.

A new forum, old problems, new problems air them here and I’m sure I can say this we’ll try to help, in a positive manner.

God bless MM Forums here’s to a long life for the forumite, if we’re half as good at helping those with computing issues as we were in the past.

I picked that one up as well RSB – took out a sub to it as well (£14 for three months is a lot more stomachable than £7 a pop)

It is monthly but you only get a few more pages than MM weekly. For that price if I got a subscription the postman should not be able to post it through the door! :mail:
