I’m looking for a basic PC which will only be used to wirelessly access an on-line appointments system – nothing else. Have any of you used this or similar?

As it will be on 24/7 I’m wondering about overheating.

Cost is about £75 from China (with an Americal Plug) or £95 for the same thing from a UK supplier (with a UK plug).

      All comments welcome!

I’d get a Fire Stick. If you have an Android device install the Fire TV app for easier typing. Way cheaper and designed to be on 24/7

You can get the same unit branded as the Chillblast Micro System for the same price from E-Buyer http://tinyurl.com/ybkb2lfn

That will solve any worries about warranty.

I’ve used similar systems and I wouldn’t expect any overheating problems.

Merely for completeness, a Pi does not need a monitor as you can always run it headless and ssh or use a VNC viewer. If you used a pi zero in a plastic marg tub, total cost is <£20. Messy, definitely diy but would do the job.
