On the bottom (right) of the home page, there was a leader board. I think it operated on the amount of topics. There was a list of about 6 forumites, you were always top and I was always bottom with other forumites in between.

I’m not sure it serves much purpose to most posters. I did not even know it was there until John raised the topic. I guess it is a bit like Forum Coins – I’m not sure of their purpose either.

Me too, will I ever get off the bottom? but then if there were 10 (not 6) maybe I wouldn’t be on the bottom.

I don’t even know how it works. How do you accumulate points Lee?

Is it on bad spelling and grammar? As that would explain how I’ve managed to get some points.

You get different amounts for different things. New Topics, Reply’s, Like’s by others, Reviews in review section, blog posts “Lots of points”, Social area use and so on. Each of which earns different amounts.

It’s not finely tweaked yet and there are two scores. An overall score and monthly score which is what you see in the sidebar on the right “Bottom On Mobile” however that is broken as it is not resetting every month.

P.s. Points can be deducted for sloppy topic titles and other bad vibes.
P.s.s. For those who are not sure what it is for it’s there to wave it around and to say how big it is. So that’s that clarified.

You’re probably not the bottom John. It shows the top five, with you in the last spot if you’re outside the top five. e.g. I’m currently seventh, so I see myself in the sixth spot with #7 next to my name

Apart from the Fun factor, I think there is the point that some contributors have less time to dawdle here than others, with work and family commitments. Not so this particular Oldphart, who can spend half a day here if not reminded that there is a world out there. ???

I’m still on it – no clue how. I guess the BS I sometimes post must count for something.

Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. Nice CoolerMaster case, 2 x NV GTX 1070 8GB, and a whopping 32" AOC 1440P monitor.

Anyone else having the same problem I do. The side panel is so sensitive it invariably opens to cover a lot of what I am trying to read

Yes the fly out side panel is a bit sensitive sometimes, but today either it or me is a little better. I used to think that composing space is a bit short then, today I found the box can be stretched downwards to make it a little more useful sized. It is amazing what can learn if you live long enough.

The flyout panel is not a big problem for me, I think its usefulness outweighs any slight irritation.

I see I am climbing the Board again. My heap of BS is bigger and smellier than yours Dan!?? (Would wave Willy if I could find it!)
