Well, LCF SOLICITORS near me have admitted that there is nothing left in my nans estate. That means, in the next few weeks when the bailiffs come I and my cats are going to be literally homeless. I am not the first one they have done this to nor will I be last. I am with building a site like theres in the hope other people will share their bad experience with this company. Hopefully costing LCF a lot more than they have cost me. http://www.lcf.news

They will no doubt threaten me with courts and so on but I have nothing left for them to take.

As for me, I have tried for weeks to find a house, even gone to the council and absolutely nothing. I just can not afford bonds and rent upfront at the moment, not even a tent!

Anyway, it’s looking more likely that I will not be able to get on the net to keep this alive so if anyone wants to temporary manage this place while I am away just let us know.

Now thats what i call a dilemma.

Plenty of fat to chew on there Bro’

Dont go around breaking shop windows and swearing at the police just to get your self in the nick. It may well be ok in there but when you come out?

I’m sorry to hear that Lee.

Make sure the council knows about ANY health issues, physical, mental, anything. They have a ‘duty of care’. They have to help you. It could make the difference between ending up in shite bag hostel or a half decent ‘hotel’.

Also try getting in touch with a charity like Mind.

They have loads of experience when it comes to  helping people in tough circumstances.

As for help running this place, sadly I don’t have the spare mental capacity right now.

I actually have some work on this week, all on site, but if you get stuck I’ll gladly do the admin.

I’ll need to know what to look for though.

It’s quiet around here. Anyhow. I have some sort of abscess or bad tooth and my right side of my face is swollen. It’s not hurting much and I am on loads of anti-biotics but all in all, feeling good tonight.

              Anyhow….

Cheers, all. A little update. As mentioned above I built a website pointing out some facts. http://www.lcf.news

I have added some more facts, take a nosey 🙂

Anyhow, after I mass mailed a link to the site to all their employers I received an e-mail from their top man.

We write further to your conversation with our Mr Shaw on Wednesday 31 March 2021.  You asked us to provide an explanation as to why it appeared you were unlikely to receive anything from your late grandmother’s estate.

We confirm that we are treating your enquiry as a formal complaint and the matter is being investigated under our internal Complaints Procedure.

Whilst you have not raised your complaint in writing, we consider that this is the best way of resolving matters.

Whilst our Complaints Procedure would normally involve us reviewing matters and then inviting you to a meeting, this is unlikely to be possible or practicable in view of the current Covid-19 Pandemic.

In accordance with our Complaints Procedure, we will send you a detailed response by 21 April 2021.

Pending our investigation of your complaint and the conclusion of our findings we will suspend the action for enforcement of the Court Order for possession made in respect of the property which you are currently occupying.

              Yours faithfully,

A small victory and a possible delaying tactic. But you could also contact the Law Society to make an independent complaint Lee: –

Good luck mate, hope the abscess gets better.

That’s a step in the right direction Lee.

Have you thought about going to the local papers?

                  Good luck with the gnasher.

I think Bob’s advice may be the best route, but before doing that ask how long their internal review will take. The Law Society will only act after the internal review is completed.

Pleased to hear you’re still in situ, Lee. 👍 There’s nothing worse than an abscess because you can’t get to it, and even eating is painful, so you tend to stop, and then feel worse!! Soup is the best solution, especially the Big Soup style ones which are like a casserole – they can be mashed before cooking to make them easier to digest with minimum chewing.

Good luck with the review – stay strong.

“…especially the Big Soup style ones which are like a casserole… ”

I recommend Cross & Blackwell Beef & Veg or Roast Chicken. Also there is Baxter’s Chicken Broth, very tasty. As I can no longer eat, these are the two soups I really miss. The C&B soups are more like a meal, a big tin, but they don’t need a lot of chewing, unlike Heinz Beef & Veg.

Of course, if you have a blender, you could whip up some soups and broths yourself, but they would need to be well mixed to help with chewing.

From Ed:   ” The Law Society will only act after the internal review is completed. ” – good advice, I missed that bit.

That’s what we did with our son – we never bought a jar of baby food for him. Whatever we were eating, he had a portion of, blended with gravy if it was a main, or yoghurt/custard with stewed fruit for a dessert. That blender, a pressure cooker and a slow cooker were essential bits of kitchen equipment for us as we were both working.

Anne’s younger sister ( by 15 years ) came to stay with us one time and it took a call to her GP to persuade her that it was ok to feed that to her baby. We also showed her that she didn’t need to pay for nappies when terry nappies and liners did the trick – but convenience won her back when she returned home. It never ceases to amaze me when people say how poor they are, but spend money indiscriminately on things like packets of nappies, convenience foods and similar wastes of money.

When we bought our first maisonette we would buy jumbo packs of frozen mince and on a Sunday we would cook and freeze various versions of it for during the week. Home made burgers or meatballs – mince, shredded mushrooms, onion and breadcrumbs, a bolognese sauce for either spag bol or jacket potatoes, a shepherds pie or anything else to see us through.

To be honest I am just eating my usual chewing on one side. That is when I can stomach it. All the tablets are just killing any appetite I have.

                            Metronidazole 400mg x 3 a day

                            Amoxicillin 500mg x 3 a day

Plus Sertraline “Happy Pills” 1 a day

                            Paracetamol as and when
