How do you Edit your profile?

Been to the ‘Edit My Profile’ link/page but when I get there nothing works.   I wanted to add a signature and change my displayed name from my christian name to The VFM Addict.

Anyone know how to do it or is that page not fully functional yet?

I’ve just looked at the page – I have the option to add a Sig, or change my name. I tried both ways, clicked on the “Howdy” and clicked on “Edit my Profile”, also from Activity drop down menu, clicked on Profile, then on the Edit tab. Strange. It’s not like you’re a recent joiner either.

I’ve just tried it from your account and can’t find a problem. I’ll wait and see if others have similar problems. :good:

Now I’m totally baffled as my name has changed from my christian name to ‘The VFM Addict’ and there is a signature of ‘Test sig’ but I didn’t do either ????

Is there a ‘Forumite Ghost’ …………… :wacko: ……. 🙂

And I still can’t edit the signature or any other section.    BTW I’m  using FF or Palemoon (an FF derivative).   I wonder if you guys are using Chrome?   Maybe its a browser specific problem?   I’ll give IE a try.

I changed your sig and name to test it, it worked. This site and its features “Most of them, there are lots” have been tested in IE, FF, CH, ED and SF.

No sure what’s happening but I can edit my profile in IE and just did so but can’t in FF or Palemoon.     I have no common extensions or plug-ins between FF and PM other than Flash so its not them.   I’ll try from a Virtual Box Mint later and see if that has problems.    But it certainly seems its just me and I can’t figure out why?

No idea to be honest, I’ll just have to see if the problem crops up in the future.

Well I don’t know what was causing it but a good old fashion system reboot appears to have sorted it.   Whatever it was it seems only to have caused problems on my system to Mozilla coded browsers.    Think I’ll run malware and in-depth virus scans just in case it was a side effect of some nasty that’s lurking on my machine.
