Having watched all Series 1 to 6 at least once, I recorded this last night, at 2am. Set to record the series. Probably watch Episode 1 tonight after SWMBO retires for the night, as she hates it. Report tomorrow, anyone else seen it?

If I was a betting man, I would give Daenerys (Mother Of All Dragons) 2-1 on to win, Cersei to be 100-8. John Snow 5-1. Outsider, maybe Arya Stark, as she is a short but fierce Williams. ?

That little short dude is going to be a very close No. 2 or perhaps even the No.1 with a figurehead.
While the dragon bird is poised to win, I can’t see her ruling over both continents.

Perhaps she will be overall ruler but leave dwarf dude running the colder areas.

Forgot about Tyrion Lannister. IMO, best actor in the show, certainly very human and very believable. Some of the rest are a bit wooden. If he kicks the booze, 14-1. Otherwise. 50-1.

Despite being ‘vertically challenged’, when he is onscreen, he seems to fill it.

Not watched it yet. Thought it aired tonight tbh. I’ll be watching soon though. It’s probably the only programme I don’t wait until the season finished to watch it.

I wanted to watch all the previous Eps with the wife, but she is probably the only person on earth that has zero intrest in it. I’d of enjoyed a marathon month of catch up. There are so many story lines there is a lot to forget. Especially for someone that struggles to recall names.

            But it never materialised.

Anyone having issues with Now TV? I can’t log in, just change my PW and still it won’t recognise  me.

Went to there site, and it will let me log in (Google smart lock does it), but when I select my account details it fails.

Now that I’ve just changed the PW I’m going to get grief tomorrow when some one tries to watch h something and all the devices are locked out

Update-embeded a fool. My issues was because I had my vpn running. House is gonna love me tomorrow.

Well S7E01 was good, lots of teasing, cameo by Ed Shearen. It covered the 3 main factions and expanded on Sam’s role, watch out for the hand!

Overall I think the episode was good, watching again for any other missed bits but Aria’s bit at the start was excellent and confused the BLEEP out of SWMBO!

                Cheers Knight,

Steve, my missus is just as disinterested as yours in GOT, must be a female thing, don’t know why as there are so many powerful women in it. I watched on Sky, glad I got the Box Sets deal now.

I think it set the scene for some great storylines to come. John Snow seems to be growing into being “King In The North” having put Sansa in her place. Wonder when Uncle Benjen will appear again. I watched Ep’s 1 to 6 all out of order, in fact I watched them all again, in order this time, whilst waiting for 7. So it all made sense, eventually.

I always recommend to people to watch S1E03 first and then at the end come back to 1 and 2, although like the books these set the story up they are a little confusing and often do more to put people off than actually watch it.

I have no interest in it at all but my mother loves it.

I’m slowly getting the DVD boxsets for as little as possible on ebay for her, doing OK so far, under £10 for the first 2. ?

PM, it’s a bit like Marmite. People either ‘get it’ immediately, love it and are hooked. Or have no interest in it. I am actually a Hard SFiction fan, all based on the possible. Never thought I would ever be hooked on a Fantasy Series. Talking to local neighbours: 2 out of 4 men like and watch it, only 1 of their wives. 2 out of 3 lone women like it: one is a church-going 87 years, little old lady, loves it, but she also reads Tolkien and went to Oxford, a Mathemitician who lived in China for many years. There are some real old characters around my neck of the woods!

No accounting for different tastes in anything. But a boring world if we all liked the same things.
