Epic have changed their giveaways page back to the old format, and added extra games. As well as Ark and Samurai Shodown, Sludge Life and Dolores: A Thimbleweed Park Mini Adventure are currently free too :good:

Ghost Busters remasterd is frree on Epic. Great game, I have the original and so am over the moon to get this remasterd version for FREE. Also Blair Wich free.

Hacker News opened my eyes to all the free games that are hosted on Github. link

Most of course can be found in typical Linux distros, but one or two such as OpenTomb do not appear elsewhere. Some, (Arx Fatalis & OpenMW) needs some game data from a commercial install disk, similar to Doom ports or extensions, however they often make substantial improvements to the original. Not the least of which is being able to run on a modern GPU.

Something at least to browse through while locked-up indoors on a freezing cold foggy day.

Not really free games. But before Xmas Google sent me a free stadia Pro (think it’s just a chromcast Pro) and thier controller. With 6 months free stadia Pro sub, it’s very good, loads of good content. I decided to take out the sub when it ended, and have a huge catalogue of games.

It gets bad press but it’s OK.

Know you can use an xbox or PlayStation remote with it, so I’d recommend signing up and trying it out. Cheap way to casual game some proper games.
