What happened to the plus one button? I quite like that, as some posts are worthy of appreciation but don’t necessarily need a reply. Your post above is a good example of such a post.

To be honest I don’t remember there being a like button but it should fall under points/user member level. Need to think of names for levels but I am sure we have had this convo before.

On the Latest Replies page, it just shows now, when the last reply was made, previously it also showed who had posted – not vital, but it was info I took on board when scanning the page.

Will the RSS feeds to the latest news be coming back at all?? They were useful and used quite a bit.

A big “Thanks” and very well done on all the work so far – it looks fresh and different, but comfortingly similar!! That’s often a difficult combination to achieve.

Yes the latest, I will put back the user. I was just trying to clean up the mobile screen but I’ll think of another way. Yes the news is DEFINITELY coming back in some shape or form.

For now I have called the points system, which you can see under your forum avatar on the right “Forumite Coins” but if any one has a better idea of what they should be called then add it here. I will add users levels based on points to when I figure out how many for each level. Oh, and yes, we are starting a fresh!

I have put some buttons at the bottom for the mobile. They need moving to the left and tweaking. Button order is from left to right, categories, new topic and latest. Problem is I can only adjust or tweak it by shutting the forum down “Don’t Ask, The site is having crap day” so I I’ll tinker when your not looking 🙂

I don’t know if you moved them already, but they are great how they are now. And even move on the fly out of the way.

Although adding pictures on mobile I’m still finding tedious on mobile. Fat thumbs and little space to click on space after the pic makes it hard. I doubt you could fix that either. I think thats just the way it is.

Yes I moved the buttons to the left, just need to restrict them to the forums now and remove them from the desktop although the later is not so important. Any how I have added a few things over the Christmas period and it’s back to real work tomorrow. I’ll do the cleaning up after all these changes over the coming weeks and put the news back and other stuff. Not to sure about your fat thumbs and little buttons, I’ll have to have a think about it.

I do have some fun ideas to go with the ranking and point system that I added, may not be everybody’s cup of tea but we’ll see.

I wouldn’t bother getting rid of them. They’re not exactly in the way, and they’re a handy shortcut.

Just to check with the coins, I gave you two likes, mainly to see how they work, and your points went up as expected, but my points went up too. Is that supposed to happen? Yours went up by 10, and mine went up by 2 (so 5 & 1 per like).

I’m liking the new design too. As JayCeeDee says, it looks different but familiar ?
