Did they point you towards any specific bit in all that ? I can’t see any part that expressly says that your Website can’t be a forum. On the other hand, I suppose a forum is not really the same as a Website 🤔

Heavy bummer Lee. :negative: That could have been a good little earner, in view of how many of us buy from Amazon. Might look at some criticism on their site: i.e. this is not just a forum, it’s a website whose forum members are all techies or geeks and buy quite a lot of PC, devices, components and other stuff such as beverages, clothing, furniture, etc.

I suppose as a Forum you are not wholly responsible for its contents.

Its an arse. I have appealed but that usually means nothing with big companies like Amazon. Just have to wait and see what they say. I have other possible options such as eBay, Google, Ali express and I am sure there are others. I would have preferred amazon and was trying to work this so I could eventually get shut of the membership.

Lee, I suspect if you set up a web page that is separate from the Forum they would be happier. One way to do this would be to use such an advertising area  as the landing page for forumites that has to be accessed before using the Forum. That would separate the Forum with its limited controls from an area over which you have complete control.

I am planning on Amazon telling me exactly what the issue is hopefully and go from there but I do suspect something like that would need to be done. The annoying thing is they promote their influencer program which means people promoting amazon products on social networks.

I can only see two good reasons why they would be:

1. They like to see if people are serious so use this way to find out.
2. There is one mention of “forum” in their policy but that is to do with there own forum for associates. I am guessing a fool just skimmed over this without reading through and decided to shut me down.
