I am getting round to including some amazon associate / affiliate links / ads etc scatted through the site. Not many but hardly noticeable in the forum.  I have to have three people to buy items through a link on my site before I am considered. So if anyone is planning on buying anything from amazon could you please go through this link. :good:

Good to hear – it was just a little order as the week ahead looks fine and there are a few garden jobs outstanding at the moment.

Looking for some garden paint for the benches, etc, so I’ll see if that’s on there.

Yea I am going to do a bit of gardening during the week. Not sure why as the solicitors are taking me to court to try and force me out 🙂 More on that later, trying not to think about it at the moment. :yahoo:

Lee, how about setting up an equipment/hardware reviews section?  At the moment things tend to get a bit scattered, but I’m happy just to Amazon link the odd bit of gear that I have used in projects etc., but you will have to tell us how to generate such links.

I did have a reviews area for ages outside the forum. Did not get used once.
What are you suggesting? A new forum section? If so that’s fine, I’ll get onto it. If however, if a review is 350 words or more I would prefer a blog post review. Anyone can do one and allows me much better SEO control.

Apart from the addition of a review area in the forum after 5 years I finally got the forum area exactly how I want it I think :yahoo: So once I have finished the market area and new frontpage the blog will be my next project. I want to some get that area more used.

As for your self doing an amazon link I’ll see if it can be done. But if that fails I can just do it myself once you have done your thing.
