Know exactly what you mean, Lee. Thought I would watch some You Tube stuff, what was I faced with? – “Watch the Royal Wedding live on You Tube” ! ??

Why would I want to do that, when it is on every other channel on the box? Roll on, 5 pm, until then I will watch some old Forest matches and some comedy YT shorts. Missus says that the Guest List is stuffed with people like George Clooney and the Beckhams, which confirms my opinion of the Royals today: just another bunch of over privileged, over paid celebs.

I think the match will be close, unless Conte gets his tactics wrong again. If he goes defensive, Mourinho will soon react and change formation to attack, that’s what he does best, thinks on his feet. Conte has that rigid Italian defensive tactic, which is why a lot of Chelsea fans will not be sorry to see him go. Bit difficult to predict, but I am going for a Man U win by 2 – 1.

I decided to garden work to avoid TV.

I swept the porch, photographed bit of the garden and refilled the salt supply in the water softener. Then I sprang a leak, had a patch stuck to keep the red stuff inside and was banished to doing nothing for a while.

It does not matter too much if I drip while out walking the dogs. TV last night was pretty grim, I guess it was a hint for today. – Do not bother with TV till the sun has gone down and all are rested once more.

We went for a long walk around the beautiful scenery surrounding our village. Not a cloud in the sky, a nice, soft, cool breeze blowing. It brings so many benefits, walking among the green, empty countryside with the far Lincolnshire horizons shading off into the blue Wolds, breathing country air and listening to so many different bird songs. If there really is a Heaven, I would like it to be just like that.

That was a poor game indeed. I predicted a 00 over 90,so I was almost right.

A right snooze fest for the neutral.

I was, as a neutral, it was just poor. As a untied fan I’d imagine it got some that exciting (annoying) towards the end. And nervy for the blues.

But as a neutral, it was just slow and lathargic. Especially  for first 45.

But it was a poor game, a bit better after the second part of the second half. United tried everything to get through, but nobody coaches defences like an Italian coach, and the Chelsea defence was magnificent. I agree about Phil Jones, he belongs to the old style of England defenders: big, clattering centre backs who need a couple of minutes to turn, by which time he is chasing the opposition. Result as we saw, was a foul and a penalty. Contrast him with Gary Cahill and John Stones, who are confident with the ball and play it out of defence, instead of lumping it upfield or heading it aimlessly forwards, usually to be picked up by the opposition. Once Chelsea scored, there was only one winner, and they could have had more, with those quick breaks out of defence.

Mourinho just ran out of ideas. United need a good, modern coach. They have enough talented players, just not coached properly. The Special One has been caught by progress.
