2 mins in and Hart is already screwing up. I do detest that guy. Just bloody stop in the goal please.

I don’t know why we don’t go with Pickford now as 1st choice keeper, gets better all the time. Which is the exact reverse of Hart, who is going backwards IMO. Plus Pickford would have his Everton centre back in front of him. Notice you have not made a prediction Lee, it’s 1-1 for me.

Thought we were getting a football lesson at times though, but there is a lot of potential in this England team. They are learning all the time. Standout England player: Stones. Standout Brazilian: Marcello. It’s a good, fast game, enjoying it so far.

I am somewhat disappointed to be honest. You can get them toys for toddlers that you push shapes through, squares, triangles etc… I am thinking by the end of this game the manager will need to get them one as there is a chance they will have forgotten the shape of a football.

I am going 2-1 to Brazil.

Can not believe the only one doing any real work “Rashford” as been taken off.

Both wrong, but England are looking better every time out IMO. We stood up against and almost beat one of the world’s best teams. If they continue to improve, we might even make it past the quarter finals this time. The last move, when Solanke could have scored, was a lovely bit of football. From another accurate cross by Kyle Walker, who kept Neymar and Marcello quiet for long periods. The defence looks good.

Ireland are out, beaten 5-1 by Denmark, who will be there with their Scandinavian mates from Sweden.

Thought there might have been a sigh of relief from Steve when Coutinho was taken off in the 67th minute, without an injury. ???
