Forumite Points: 0I edited a topic once since that I can’t find edit, maybe it was replaced with a number but clicking the number does nothing.
Edit:
The edit is on here maybe it will only edit once?
Edit: Edit:
No it still here must look at the topic that didn’t show edit the second time.

Forumite Points: 0No it seems once you leave the topic and come back to edit: Edit isn’t there. It seems you can only edit while first in the post.
Why? You might need to modify – correct your post.
December 22, 2016 at 9:55 am #1505It was 3 times John , but I asked Lee could he (once the for is sorted ) move it to one as I have people changing history and not standy by there written word. Or rather editing later to change an argument.
What I did propose was a one time edit change for typos (as you know me ), but have it have a 12hour cut off.
I did also ask him to remove the edit limit for the first few months , as being able to edit multiple time is good for hunting bugs, or ironing out how to work unknown /new features.
December 22, 2016 at 10:03 am #1506Setting time limits is not option to be honest. I no doubt can limit number of edits but when I start limiting to say one I may as well just change my name:

December 22, 2016 at 10:13 am #1512I thought that was your middle name?
I have just got your book actually. Once I finish elon musk’s I’m starting on it.
I love that you can’t edit once you leave. Would be good if you couldn’t delete also. So if you want to be a prick in anger, you can’t go back and soften it up , toake the respondent look bad.
Also what happens if the OP delete their opening post? Does it delete the thread. I f-ing hats that on mm . I think if some one responds , them no one them owns the thread. As I’ve seen a fair few on mm start a thread, not like the answers given ,and delete the thread. Which is selfish as people put time and effort in answering , so you [op] should not have the right to delete a thread just cos you dislike the answers given . That is basically a Hitler complex.
I seen one person once delete a thread cos it went off topic . It was interesting too, and pages long . I’d suspend some for that type of behaviour.

Forumite Points: 0I had better make sure I do it right before posting then, ane spelin mistaks wo be coricted latirs.
What’s with the paper clips at the side of topic name
tis a good job I have 1 edit as I forgot the picture fist post
2 edits first off wrong picture and I can’t seem to remove/change it
December 22, 2016 at 10:56 am #1520Paper clips indicate atachments. You will have to explain in more details what your edit issues are? The maximum edits is 4 and I guess with out looking into that the origanal reply is counted as one.

Forumite Points: 0I think that’s the issue “The maximum edits is 4” and with the topic counting as 1 it’s 3 edits.
Often the finished product is what you see, to get too it may take many edits, it looks 0k but once I check it (after posting) I spot errors.
