It seemed almost surreal to be entertained by the daily ‘Politics’ show on the media, but the Cummings show had everything including the metaphorical blood from tens of thousands of victims on the carpet. It was however difficult to decide who were the villains in the show :
Cummings with his decidedly dodgy connections to the Russian hierarchy, blue funk breaker of lockdown and teller of unbelievable excuses (testing eyesight by driving!), or the mendacious, dithering BoJo and his inept Cabinet.
If, despite all this, BoJo miraculously springs back like the hero in fairy stories, he will totally owe his survival to Kate Bingham, the entrepeneurial trained biochemist who so adroitly led the vaccine taskforce. BoJo must be thanking his lucky stars that it was Kate who was able to show the required knowledgeable leadership and decisiveness. If it had been Dildo Harding we would all have been doomed!
