I play the lottery online sometimes, and I’ve just had a warning about suspicious activity by some players, with the warning that I should change my password. The full email, including the correct link to the site, is below:

As part of our regular security monitoring, we have seen some suspicious activity on a very small number of players’ accounts. We have already directly contacted those players whose accounts have been affected.
We are advising you to change your password as a precaution, particularly if you use the same password across multiple websites. Here’s how:Log into your National Lottery account at http://www.national-lottery.co.uk/sign-in
Under ‘My account’, go to ‘Manage my account’
Click on ‘Account and Password Settings’
Edit your password and save

When updating your password, our advice is to use a mix of letters (upper and lower cases), numbers and characters and avoid words that are obvious or personal to you. Most importantly, make it unique.
We would like to make clear that there has been no unauthorised access to core National Lottery systems or any of our databases, which would affect National Lottery draws or payment of prizes. We would also like to reassure our players that we do not display full debit card or bank account details on their online National Lottery accounts.
