      BBC report:     https://tinyurl.com/y8agwyue

Second-hand gadget and video games retailer Cex has said up to two million customers have had their data stolen in an online breach.

The company said the stolen data included customers’ names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and some old credit card information.

Telling No.2 gson to change passwords and Username. No. 1 does not use it, buys new tech.

There have been a lot of sites that have been hacked and info gutted. (Nexusmods and CD Projeckt to name but two). However I put the hack of CEX in a different league. It sounds like they did not bother to encrypt their data – enabling someone to steal plain-text info  deserves the maximum possible fine.

Hey-ho time for me to check https://haveibeenpwned.com/ again!

First thing I checked Ed. After Wasbit‘s excellent thread regarding browser extensions, I used the info there to clear the decks of any nasties. I see you gave it a +1.
