My Nexus got stuck in a boot loop again. It’s about 5 years old, I think, and I asked some young’uns what might make a good replacement. They directed me towards these £1000 phones!

      Crazy world.

        Yes.

        Depends on your patience levels.

The Motorola Edge 20 can be had for very close to £300 on a good day with a fair wind.

        Info.

              +1 for CEX.

CeX offers a 24-month warranty on all items purchased from CeX stores or webuy.com except consumables (removable batteries and projector bulbs).

They may be a little more expensive in their second=hand goods, but the quality is reliable and the warranty is excellent value, though for phones it is often the battery that causes the problems. I guess it depends how they define ‘removable’!

Hell yes, The Poco F3. I have the 4G version, as do wife and son, best phone I’ve owned.

The last couple of phones I got was from BACK MARKET.

They where Samsung s9 and s9+

I highly recommend a s9+ The two I got where as new for about 200 each.

Contrast on their website is a bit lacking. Designed by yoof with 20/20 eyes!

The trick to navigate to the best phone at the best price. pick the phone you want. click condition. click through colour range.

                      watch the prices change.

Jumped up to £350 now, but on sale on the Xiami website for £200.

Have they ironed out the Android Auto issues? I remember the F1 and it was great but it wouldn’t work in my car at all, so ended up getting replaced.

Almost purchased one to play with, but realised that I should dig the Pixel 4a from it’s position as bedside MP3 player and use that. Reviews online state that the 4a is the better photo taker for phones around that price point but lacks some of the other features (performance and screen).

I don’t use Android Auto so I’ve no idea.
