Audible Books To Standard MP3

Is it possible to put Audible books to standard MP3 so I can put them on a usb drive for my Nan to play thorugh the TV?

Also I have added an Amazon Alexa section to the tech area although I ended up putting this in e-books.

It looks like there’s no DRM if you download the books through Linux:

If that’s right, you can convert them with any converter. I use Media Monkey myself, as it’s a great organiser too

I’m offered an AAX file now on Linux which according to the original article is a DRM’d version of the file.

@tippon @drezha In your audible library at the top you can click download and change to something called format 4 and then download whatever in .aa format which will play in VLc. I still need to figure out how to convert that though. I have seen mentions of ffmpeg or the like.

Thanks @tippon I’ll try and figure it out first, no fun otherwise. Plus sending files any where could be classified as piracy and I will be breaking my own forum rules ?
