I had an email from 7dayshop with these noise cancelling headphones. I was going to use them with my mp3 player, but I might just leave them on my desk now ?
July 18, 2018 at 6:58 am #23236I agree – they don’t even cure rheumatism!
July 18, 2018 at 2:37 pm #23245Wow they are some claims lol. Claims aside, I love NC headphones, since I got my bose hobbies, but given I only listen to books and pod casts, these would be perfect.
If I wasn’t going away tomorrow, I’d of got a pair. Pennies are a wee bit tight atm.
July 18, 2018 at 3:48 pm #23247But will they walk the dogs when I do not feel like it? Given that the other tasks are nearly impossible, dog walking should be easy.
July 18, 2018 at 4:52 pm #23250I wonder what it says on the McCrappy ad, perhaps that is great for listening to music, or sleeping on a plane!
I really shouldn’t laugh as some poor layout jerk is probably trembling at the fact that their job is in the balance for poor staff work and laziness (failure to check copy). They will be hoping that no-one (especially their boss) picks up this thread.

Yes. I am back from holiday. More laters.

I'm out.July 19, 2018 at 10:26 pm #23279Have to be honest, in Maplin’s closing down I picked up a pair of Phillips BT earbuds for peanuts (£25 approx), which are awesome. No noise leakage that I can detect, let just enough sound through that I can hear when Northern rail is cancelled/delayed – or at least when I should take one out to hear it (why don’t Northern Rail save time and money, and just announce when a train is on time?), and excellent sound quality.
I like my rock, so a good dynamic range with a decent bass is mandatory, and these fit the bill. Nor do they interfere with my hat (which over the ear phones would).
Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. Nice CoolerMaster case, 2 x NV GTX 1070 8GB, and a whopping 32" AOC 1440P monitor.
