Just over 12 months ago I purchased an Antec Two Hundred 200 case from Ebuyer, the project never materialise so it remained in the delivery carton until early March 17.

Built a system for a client, delivered etc. all OK – a couple of weeks later there was a problem with the front case Power button – diagnosed that it was faulty and eventually got a replacement from Antec in Holland.

Returned and found that one of the twiu USB3 sockets on the case front was also faulty – the LH side one – nothing worked on it whereas the RH one worked with anything you cared to stick into it,

Got in touch with Antec – could I return the USB3 mounting to the chassis as well as the old duff ON/OFF switch? Hmmmm me thought – so I stated that my client would them be without a PC whilst all this was with them, could I not return same to them after replacement?  They wanted photos of the USB3 front ports – supplied, the details from the carrier carton – my client has re-cycled it!!

Today they said that the port might be incompatible with my USB stuff – so according to Antec – they suggest Kingston – so a Toshiba and Samsung ex 2.5″ HDDs, Corsair, SanDisk and Transcend memory sticks might be incompatible with that LH port.

Last time I ever buy an Antec case! :bye:  :bye:  :bye:  :bye:  :bye:  :bye:  :bye:  Antec.

Sent snotty email, their response awaited!

It is probably not your issue but, I had an Antec case and whenever something was plugged into the front ports the machine re-booted. As they were not vital I ignored them, leaving them unconnected and thought no more about them. A while later I needed to de-fluff the beast. I took off the front panel and found that the sockets were connected by a badly aligned plug and socket to the wire that went onto the motherboard. Re-plugging the wire onto the sockets cured that issue once and for all.
