Black Friday has started. I just purchased a WileyFox Swift 2X at Amazon. At a discount of £75 I can put up with the absence of Galilao, and my Elephone mobile’s battery is dying rapidly with no chance of replacement..

Shame that my phone broke and forced my hand, like look like great deals ?

Out of curiosity, what’s the benefit of dual SIM?

(Posting this on my new Moto ?)

If you have a work and personal phone, you can combine the two.

It’s more common in aisa to have dual sim device. I think the international version of the Moto are only single sim. The dual version will be fine here though.

Wise move Ed, that (or its successor) will be my next phone. If the original Swift dies, although it answers all my needs atm.

Daughter decided she wants the Xperia.  One will be winging it’s way to North Wales.

As a language student she will be spending time out of the country, so the dual sim will come in handy.

You’ll have to go to Bangor University and fight my daughter for it ?

Lol. Lovely uni, I read there. The main building, minus the 1960s eyesore of an library extention,  is stunning. As is the old business school.

Given the hills your girl will have to navigate each day, she will be in peak health (minus the drinking), so I’ll pass on the wrestling offer.

West Country girls are not to be messed with. I learnt that as a 16 yo at Merchant Navy Training School, Sharpness. And again whilst doing N.I. training at Penhale Sands, Cornwall. Cornwall is Far West of course, more like an independent country.

She has two older brothers so unlike some of her peers, “boys” hold no terrors for her. She knows exactly how to deal with them and if that includes a swift kick to the happy sacks, so be it.

She is absolutely loving Bangor and being at Uni in general. At the open day, Dwynne Hughes was kind enough to give us a guided tour of the area so we found out about all the hills. She was home last week and has definitely lost weight.

The phone arrives here today so I’ll be having a play with it before it gets shipped off. I’m interested to see just what the 23mpx camera could do in my quest for a pocketable camera. Generally I don’t like the handling of a camera phone, but I think this one has a dedicated shutter button.
