      My Mate 20 Pro got the latest Android Auto update today and I’m liking it a lot.

      Music now plays automatically, no more waiting for it and prodding play. Microphone button is now much more visible. More apps available as well. Music controls at the bottom of the screen is nice for those that don’t have controls on the steering wheel.

      It also seems to connect to the car quicker and more reliably which is very welcome.

        I got it to yesterday. (P20p also). I quite like it also. Very radical shift from the old layout.

          We got it on Ellen’s Honor 9 and the Fiesta last week, and it’s much better. It works reliably with EMUI too, which is more than can be said for the old version, so either Google or Huawei have done some tinkering 🙂

            I don’t use the stock ui/launcher. I have nova launcher and pixel icon pack, make it look and behave like my nexus and pixels of past.

            Back to android auto, with my Leon never had an issue. However when I had a loaner astra last year, it was hit or miss wether it would launch android auto on the car display. But my sons iPhone/car play acted exactly the same. So I put down to the car and not the phones.
