If you store music within Amazon Music, you may want to look into what’s going on over there .

Yesterday I seen something about subs changing and the need to download your music by the end of April.

I was meant to read it and post but got sidetracked.

So do some googling if your ising amazon music.

Thanks for the Heads Up, Steve. I stopped using them early last year, but I might get a message, if so I’ll post it here.

the music cloud service is stopping. Its mostly to push people towards subscribing to Amazon Music Unlimited, a premium music streaming service.

its a bit of a pig.  But im mostly salted ordering alexa to do one when it suggests i subscribe to unlimited.

There are some good alternatives posted here The one that looked interesting for you Pi owning Alexa using folks is MyMedia skill for Alexa @ £5 a year. You can use it on all the other o/ses too.

Us Synology owners have our own Alexa skill provided by Synology but it’s needs an SSL certificate which you can get free from Let’s Encrypt. All instructions at http://tinyurl.com/ydhyo7pc
