      My PC has aquired a microphone !

      My cheap Logitec webcam from about 8 years ago always looked like it had a mike but the manual said it didn’t and the Logitec driver confirmed it.

      This morning I had the PC on and Contana popped up responding to a voice command ?

      It turns out that Windows has found a generic webcam driver and installed it and I now DO have a mic.

      The security issue is I have no idea how long my PC has been listening to me.

        It’s got recordings of everything you’ve said after the wife left the room and when it comes to replacement time ( PC, not wife ) it’ll demand to be upgraded, not discarded, or it’ll play them as background music whenever the wife’s in the room.

        That’s the downside of AI!!??
