Red Bull will possibly show up at your workplace and give some free drinks.

No idea how useful it is but might help someone.

The workforce at my last job had something similar, it was called Friday.  And it was often midday. ?

I work 7 days a week, seems retirement merely meant more additions to SWMBO’s To-Do List! ???

When the Thought Police arrive at your door, think -
          I'm out.

Retirement for me just meant staying at home to work, doing the dogs!! Having said that, it has served us well, having come down here with nothing, and needing to stay home to look after a not-very-well SWMBO.

DWP basically did nothing for us, she got the old Disability Benefit until they changed the name to ESA, then a year later they told us you only qualified for this for 12 months. I got nothing, but still had to stay at home to look after her. That’s how the dogs came about.

They’ve seen us through until my Pensions came in and they changed the rules so Anne could take hers early. Every time we talk about retirement, it seems another project comes along so it needs to be deferred!! :sob::sob: Still at least we’ve squeezed in our first proper holiday for 9 years?. 5 1/2 weeks to go!!!

I think looking after dogs, is more a way of life than work. That hard work is required, I have no doubt.

But I bet you’ll still be minding dogs for many a year yet. Maybe just wind the numbers down a bit as you get older.
