I’ve had 2 emails today, one from Tesco and the other from ASDA.

Apparently I qualify for priority delivery as outlined by the Welsh government. Finally. I’m a bit surprised as I haven’t had any letter or email telling me to isolate.

ASDA have given me free delivery up until 09/10 this year. That’s nice of them but also worrying, are they really expecting this to go on that long?

          Dave, I’m amazed.

The priority scheme has been running in England for maybe 2 weeks. Not sure about the actual timescale but it’s a good while.

The criteria might differ between England and Wales, I have no idea.

I’ve had the Tesco email, but no others. I contacted the Welsh Government but haven’t heard anything.

Depends who you’ve shopped with Ryan.

Only the companies that you have already registered with (pre pandemic) are able to contact you.

Sod’s law, I’ve had an email now from Asda, not long after I placed a Tesco order

Here in Louth the shops and taxis are getting together. A local and very good greengrocer is offering a delivery service via a local taxi service, place an order and receive fresh veg at your door. Butchers are doing the same. Does not surprise me, Louth is always a close community. And it beats Uber Eats, Just eat and Pizza deliveries, IMO.

When the Thought Police arrive at your door, think -
                    I'm out.
