Can you point out a link? Do you mean links within posts?
In this thread where I quoted Dave ….
his link to PoE injectors is light grey. You only know it’s a link when it darkens if the cursor is hovered over it.

Can’t find an edit option so double post.
Might have half answered my own question … works with Axis brand IP cameras which are PoE capable but doesn’t work with Storage Solutions & Wanscam which are not PoE.

Hoping you mean the banners rather than the whole page.
Black on white is by far the best for text.
This is what the ‘Latest Replies’ looks like. Much harder to read the ‘Black & Blue@ topic than those further down the list.

As I said earlier, it’s a problem with Hotmail. It happened with about four of my accounts one after the other. Took a couple of days on each account & the problem went away.

I found these Passive Power over Ethernet PoE Adapter Injector + Splitters for a fiver that let you do it. Work a treat with my camera tester.
Just for future reference, will these work at the far end if powered by a desktop PoE switch such as the D-Link DES-1008PA that you recommended?

I suspect it’s their end John. It’s happened several times over the last few months.
Generally takes a day or two to clear.

Similar to the Cuba crisis in 1963, what happens, happens & there’s nothing we ordinary mortals can do to influence the outcome. So carry on & enjoy life to the full.

Going off at a slight tangent, I see that Bill Gates (amongst others) is arguing for robot workers to be taxed to make up for the loss caused by having less human workers.

I don’t know about BT always getting bad press but according to todays paper BT/Openreach have been fined £42m for taking too long to deliver superfast broadband connections – the biggest fine Ofcom have ever imposed. Previous was Vodaphone’s £4.6m last year.
BT also have to pay £300m in compensation to its rivals who were force into providing a poor service because Openreach failed to connect them within the 30 day time limit.

I have a 2kw solar panel system which pays me more than my energy costs.
If only I had room for a 4kw system, which is the maximum allowed for the ‘Feed in System’.

Liking the blue bar between posts – makes the reply/quote/edit easier to see, and it is brighter than the grey.
Post number, while not very important, would be easier to read in black than yellow. Thanks for all your work over the last few days, Lee.:-)? +1 to all the above

Yep. Windows Live Mail 2009 (Build 14.0.8089.0726)
Reverted to the 2009 version when the 2011 version took away the quote fix.

Either works fine using Pale Moon, so what ever is easiest for you.
OT. The Forumite banner at the top of the page (Home/Forums etc) became too deep & covered the top of the topic for several days, if the browser wasn’t the full screen width. Anyway, whatever you did has corrected it. I seem to detest having anything in full screen mode.
Also shows I read the new posts every day even though I don’t sign in.

Just attempted an order to collect from Screwfix. Got to the checkout, entered card details & was about to press the confirm button when I noticed that on collection the card has to be presented at the counter & the PIN number entered. That means I can’t get anyone else to collect my order … so they lost the sale & I ordered from an Ebay seller instead.
