Hi Guys
Thanks again for all your input. I think from your comments it would be easier to tell him he is flogging a dead horse. I can guarantee he will not have a manual for the thing other than the plugs on the back with labels there was no device name or model id on the thing. Using adapters etc is probably going to cause more problems like Richard said output gibberish and that’s if he’s lucky. He has already bought a new printer so I don’t think he is going to want to track down and spend money on a printer supporting LPT centronics connections But I will tell him that’s his only 1/2 hope.
Again thank you for your input.
Cheers
Mark
Hi all
Pictures of the “thing” sorry about the quality my phone wouldn’t focus for anything its a honor 9 and I seem to have this problem a lot with it one for another thread though. At least you can make out the plug in question.

Hi Guys thanks for your input. Dave is semi right it is the printer connection that would plug into the back of the pc to the square usb connector on the printer. Only its not going into the pc it going into the back of said contraption. I will get a picture of the contraption to show you what he needs. WOF it isn’t a zip drive from what little info I got from him it is something to do with birds I haven’t seen anything like it before.
Cheers

A few years back I had some schwalbe tyres on my mountain bike I can’t remember the actual name of them but they are no longer in their current line up replaced and renamed I guess they were completely slick and kevlar lined they where full width tyres not thin ones and they were brilliant I could free wheel down a hill and overtake and leave my brother who was pedalling like the clappers no real rolling resistance at all. So you may not need smaller wheels. Just had a google they where called schwalbe kojaks also on their website it says bigger tyres reduce resistance. So you may not need smaller wheels I think the 28 x 1.6 is the tyre size. I’ll wait for the pro’s to correct me if I’m wrong.
have a look here assuming you doing nice and steady not Tour De France

Just happened to me reading a previous topic. I wasn’t logged in it has only happened the once though.
My misses was in an accident just before Christmas a women pulled out of a side street straight into the side of our car “claimed she didn’t see our car its a black zafira so not small” the impact wasn’t at any real speed misses doing about 15 mph women pulling out of junction not many mph the damage to look at was a mangled wing, the steering wheel about 15 degrees out of straight and a bit of negative camber on the wheel. The car was eventually collected by a Vauxhall main agent in Bolton a few days later the insurance phoned to say it was a right off Vauxhall had quoted £2600 to repair the car. We bought the car back from the insurance for £625 spent just over £500 on new parts and labour apart from the wing which we got from ebay in a perfect colour match which saved a few bob in painting. Our car is back on the road for £2000 less than Vauxhall quoted. Its classed as a cat d but we will keep the car until it dies as it does everything we need it to.
Bob was that Para pub up a small road / alley off the high street heading in to the main town centre walkway?
At the bottom it says powered by clarks outlet online but the hyperlink leads back to the same page are the same shoes not on https://www.clarksoutlet.co.uk which is Clarks. Also there is a £150 difference in the free shipping

Hi Dwynne
My history GCSE exam all centered around the industrial revolution which I thought wasn’t really history in the grand scheme of things (coal mining, wedgewood, the canals etc) all modern (ish) history but Fred could make it all look and sound better and made you appreciate life back in them days. I was a big fan of his and always try to get the younger ones to watch his programs when they are repeated. He was a legend and he lived not too far from where I live
A place we go to fishing Penmon Point has a church and old priory at the beginning of its toll road (the toll includes parking for the church and priory)St Seiriol’s if you are ever over that way the church is worth a visit has it has some old stone crosses and a well its a cracking little place.
We have 3 of these https://www.argos.co.uk/product/6779469 these are good tablets for the price have been faultless compered to the acer ones they replaced
I’ve got the original honor 9 dual sim on 3 great phone but the main rear dual camera is crap. I don’t know if I have the settings wrong but the picture quality is just absolute shite. Other than that it’s a good phone. My lads g5 phone picture wise just demolishes it in all ways

My work email is being spammed to death by a lot of newly created domains that I know I have never signed up to eg @racecar.online and tons of other different @something.something they all get junked but my inbox seems to get filled up with loads of these types of emails. I get the feeling if I click the unsubscribe link it will get a whole lot worse as some of the different domain ending are effectively pushing the same shit email. Same email different domain.
